Extensive Trial History
Our founder, attorney Floyd Taylor, has a diverse history of resolving complex legal matters. He has worked as a trial lawyer for the legal division of the Oklahoma Department of Highways where he tried many jury cases in eminent domain matters.
Mr. Taylor was promoted to General Counsel for the Department of Transportation and was later appointed as First Assistant General for the State of Oklahoma. Mr. Taylor's exceptional service was rewarded again when he was named to the bench as a Special Judge for Oklahoma County.
After working for the state government for over a decade, Mr. Taylor brought his ability to solve complex legal problems to private practice.
Today, he and Kevin Taylor, his son and Legal Intern, help our clients with a variety of legal matters, including high-asset contested divorces and child custody disputes, contract disputes, eminent domain cases, personal injury, and probate and estate planning.
Kevin Taylor, who is a licensed legal intern, handles casework under his father's supervision. Kevin will be taking the bar exam in July 2009.

Two other lawyers are of counsel to the firm. Attorney Valerie Williford handles criminal matters, employment law and bankruptcy cases, and attorney John R. Long is a jack-of-all-trades who primarily handles contested divorce and other family law cases.
